My shop name came about as a combination of a jewelry venture I started with my sister years ago - we called it MoArk Jewelry as she lives in Missouri and I live in Arkansas. When I started selling online, I needed to modify the the name. As I am the "second sister" in our family, I combined that theme with our original name.
In my "real" life I am a retired Occupational Therapist and active volunteer E.M.T. on our local ambulance service. I am also a "Nana" to 4 beautiful grandchildren and 1 beautiful step-granddaughter. I am an "empty nester" but my life is filled with 3 cats, a Havanese dog named "Lily" and traveling with my husband in our RV. We take Lily with us and she has her very own car seat!
I live on a beautiful Corp. lake in the Ozarks and love all the activities that lake living allow. I also love gardening and we have created many beautiful daylily gardens here. My husband and I also have a small plant business where we have annual sales of home grown plants.
Over the years and as time allowed, I delved into many different crafts and finally concentrated on photography and oil painting. I started creating jewelry with my sister and it has been a passion of mine since. I am mostly self taught as living in rural Arkansas, it is not easy to find the appropriate classes anywhere within reach.
And now you know "the rest of the story"!
